I think that the sensitive skin is one of the most demanding types of skin, as it needs more attention when it comes to skincare. Indeed, this type of skin is very delicate and can often suffer from irritation and redness, especially if it is dry. For this reason I decided to show you the products by Cetaphil that help to take care of your skin!
The Cetaphil colour-codes its products for particular treatment. For example, those with the green colour are for hydration, blue for detention and grey for specific needs.
Cetaphil Cleanser: my opinion
The Cetaphil Cleanser (460 ml) is suitable for sensitive skin that is also dry and intolerant to any cleansing product. You can use these Cetaphil products every day while keeping the pH of the skin balanced and well moisturised. With this product you can remove all the impurities from your face, but at the same time use it for the body as well.
For example, I suggest you place it in the shower, as it is also ideal for removing make-up!
As it is fully compatible with the most sensitive skin, this emulsion cleanser is also ideal for children’s skin, damaged skin or skin that has been treated with medication. It can also be used for eczema, rosacea and psoriasis.
Remember that it has no perfume, no soap and is not foaming!
My opinion about cream by Cetaphil
If you’re looking for opinions on Cetaphil rema, you’ve come to the right page! This product is perfect if you suffer from dry, but especially sensitive skin.
Cetaphil cream cares for the skin, maintaining the protective barrier and immediately soothing the skin. It is also recommended for caring for skin that has been treated with medicines, such as psoriasis or other dermatological problems.
There are no contraindications to using this cream, the only thing I can give you is this: I have sensitive, combination skin and I have noticed that by using this product the hydration is very intense!
If you have oily skin, I wouldn’t suggest this as you may notice shiny areas or feel greasy on your skin. I can use it on the drier areas of the body, but not on the forehead as I tend to shine in this area of the face.
Another advantage of these Cetaphil products is the quantity: it’s a nice 453-gram jar of cream that you can use for a long time! The formula of this product is enriched with sunflower oil, almond oil, glycerine and vitamin E, which helps to moisturise the skin well.
If you prefer a different texture, I would like to remind you that Cetaphil also offers the moisturising fluid, which I have read positive reviews about: it is a fluid that absorbs quickly and guarantees up to 4 days’ hydration.
Cetaphil barrier hand cream
This hand cream is one of the Cetaphil products suggested for daytime use: it is the Cetaphil protective barrier hand cream, designed to protect the skin from the cold, especially in people whose skin tends to be very dry and prone to irritation.
Cetaphil Pro Dryness Control hand cream has been formulated with jojoba oil and vitamin E, which helps to moisturise and protect the skin of the hands. It is also perfect for all those who work with their hands and need a little extra pampering. The product is also fragrance-free!
When applying the cream I noticed that it absorbs quite quickly, without leaving any greasy feeling. I suggest applying it in the morning, in case you have to go out and go to work, but also in the evening before going to bed.
Cetaphil: where do you buy it?
If you would like to find out where you can buy Cetaphil with the whole range of products, I can suggest a couple of solutions. You can find all Cetaphil products such as the moisturising cream for CHF 24.90 at Amavita chemists and also at Coop Vitality in Switzerland.
If you live in Italy, on the other hand, I suggest you have a look at your local pharmacy, but also on portals such as efarma.com (I’ve used it several times for orders to be delivered to my parents’ house, so it’s reliable). You can also find all the Cetaphil products on sites like Notino, so you can select the ones that suit you best!
