How long has it been since my last review? Maybe a little too long…since I’ve started sharing my impressions and news on the blog again, I thought I’d tell you about the latest from Italian brand Deborah Milano. I’m talking about the Super Plum volumising gloss!
This is a gloss that makes the lips plumped and voluminous thanks to its formula. The effect is guaranteed by Deborah for up to 2 hours and is due to the formula. Inside is an amino acid complex (Maxi-Lip™), ginger root oil and chilli extract, caffeine and vitamin D3 for an energising effect, plus vitamin E with antioxidant and protective properties.
Now I can’t help but show the effect of this gloss on my lips. As you can see, I have a bigger lower lip than the upper one, so the difference I think you can see if you look at the upper lip.
Shortly after applying the product, you start to perceive the freshness/spicy sensation, as if you had placed some food with a sauce on it. The sensation lasts for a few minutes and then gradually disappears, leaving the volumising effect visible. If you don’t like this feeling or have particularly sensitive lips, I wouldn’t recommend it. Alternatively, there is always a first time: I would remind you not to kiss anyone on the lips because otherwise your partner will also feel the same sensation!
How to apply Super Plum by Deborah Milano?
Depending on the effect you want to achieve, you can apply this gloss in different ways. For example, I preferred to apply some on natural lips, without adding anything. Alternatively, you can make a lip contour with a nude-coloured pencil, blend it inwards and then put Deborah’s gloss on top. This way, the effect is even sharper!
Another alternative is to first apply the gloss and then switch to your favourite lip combo. Simply dab your lips to remove the gloss and you’re done.
