Those who have been following me since the beginning will well remember that one of the first collaborations that my blog was able to ‘show off’ was with The Body Shop Switzerland. Today, it is no longer among the brands I collaborate with as the company had made other decisions at the time, but nevertheless, I am sorry to hear that it will close.
In fact, The Body Shop franchise – in Coop’s hands – will no longer exist in Morbio Inferiore, Lugano and many other locations in Switzerland. Coop has decided to discontinue this partnership, leaving the spaces now occupied by these shops to other specialised brands.
The reason given for this decision was the absence of ‘desired effects’ as a result of the company’s recovery programme. Thus, a recovery goal was not achieved, although efforts were made.
Who knows what will come to replace The Body Shop Switzerland! Unfortunately, the online shop will also be closed in Switzerland.
