The warm weather has finally arrived and we can start sporting some wonderful, more colourful looks for the summer with the new Blooming Fairy collection by Diego Della Palma. The new limited edition make-up line provides us with various products for complete face make-up.
Spring Blooming Eyeshadow palette
Let’s start by talking about the palette whose colours are inspired by a bouquet of freshly picked flowers. The shades are pastel and have names reminiscent of flowers. There are six colours available, with two different textures, with three opaque and three extra pearly shades.
- Vinca Major: Matt violet
- Choisya: pearl apricot
- Allium: Matt wisteria
- Impantiens: pearl lilac
- Orchis: pearl pink
- Delphinium: pearl lavender

Colourful Volume Mascara
Do you like wearing coloured mascara? If the answer is yes, then this really is for you. It is a volumising mascara characterised by the pearl colour, perfect for a very special touch on the eyes. The texture of this mascara is quite creamy and the applicator allows you to spread the product well. The brush is slightly curved, comb-shaped, to give a fairly natural, but nevertheless volumised effect. The product costs about CHF 25!
This eye pencil is very pigmented and blendable. It is perfect to use on the inside of the eye to give a more intense touch, but also on the outside to lengthen the gaze. The periwinkle colour is perfect to combine with the mascara from Diego Dalla Palma’s Blooming Fairy collection! The cost of this pencil is approximately 24 CHF!
Afterglow Cream Eyeshadow
This is definitely the highlight of the collection (for me for sure) and I like it a lot because you really only need a little bit to get a shiny make-up. To apply it at its best, I suggest you take a little with the brush or a palette and then spread it with your fingertip to warm up the product and even it out on the eyelid. The ultra-bright effect is perfect for summer, and I myself am using it whenever I have the chance (I think it will also be a must-have for my wedding day, which is now approaching…). You can use it alone for a ‘full colour’ effect, but also as a top coat. The cost of Afterglow 44 is 24 CHF!
If you like blushes, Diego Dalla Palma’s Blooming Fairy collection even offers us three. The ones I am showing you can be placed inside a palette from the Refill System line. These are three radiant shades (orange, coral and deep pink) that you can apply on the cheekbones to give a colourful touch to the face. The finishes are pearly and will suit all complexions, whatever the season. The cost for the blush is around CHF 18.50, while the refill palette is CHF 16.
How beautiful are these limited edition lipsticks? The creamy texture allows you to easily apply the lipstick on your lips and feel comfortable. It is a lipstick with a perfumed formula, enriched with pomegranate flower and peony oil extract: thanks to these ingredients you can feel the moisturising and restructuring effect on your lips. The finish is radiant! What’s more, the packaging is really practical, with a magnet to close it up and keep it in your handbag. Three colours are available:
- 282 Nude
- 283 Coral
- 284 Raspberry
They cost CHF 25 each.
Wisteria Nails & Vinca Major Nails
Diego Dalla Palma has also thought about nails and provides us with two truly perfect shades to create a look in the shades of the Blooming Fairy collection. The two nail polishes provide a full, glossy colour on the nails that is easy to apply and make even.
You can find all products from the Blooming Fairy collection at Manor(selected), manor.ch, Loeb Thun and in some pharmacies and perfumeries in Switzerland.
